Anime Day at the Salida Library

Celebrate the end of Teen Summer Reading with the 3rd Annual Anime Day on Saturday, August 17 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Nick W. Blom Salida Regional Library. Teens age 13 – 18 will have the opportunity to create their own candy sushi, watch an anime movie, and participate in various crafts. Participants are also welcome to come dressed as their favorite comic or anime character, however, costumes are not required. Anime Day provides teens with an opportunity to interact with their peers, be creative with crafts, and learn about Japanese culture. Manga books will also be displayed and available for checkout during the event. The Salida Library is located at 4835 Sisk Road.
