If you wanted an example of how totally awful corporate TV is, then you should have seen the abysmal coverage of Live 8. This truly noble act created by Bob Geldoff was covered by the same lousy “VJs” that continually talked about the act “on the stage behind me” and then blathered on and on to each other, fans in the crowd and non-stop advertising, while the music was marginalized….. just like MTV. Thank goodness for the uncluttered live feeds on AOL.com and XM radio. How could a TV channel so innovative be such junk now? And worst of all was an annoying MTVJ talking over the Pink Floyd reunion. This is a glaring example of why we need local TV with local content and local innovation. You can help by becoming a supporter of Channel M. Have any comments about this? Post them in the buzzblog . Did you vote in the poll??
