with the Nate Henderson Combo at the Barking Dog Friday night and Gordon
Kennedy continues in the Jazz vein Saturday night. The Tooth and Nail tour with Run Kid Run will
be rocking the Underground at Calvary
Temple. There is reggae at Sidelines Friday night and
there is a Murder Mystery Train at the Sierra Railroad. On stage, Danny in the Deep Blue
Sea is at CSU Stanislaus
over the weekend and the cool digitally enhanced Mask Of Eleanor is on stage
Friday night. Modesto Symphony does the
big presentation and does the Tango this weekend with the Cuarteto
Latinoamericano, string quartet. Yes, you can get exotic at the Gallo Center
this weekend. Make sure that you check
out dinner before and drinks after the show.

At the State Theatre, the Film the Devil Knows You are dead
is on the big screen. At the West Side
Theatre Sat, Roy Rogers and the Delta rhythm Kings will deliver some serious
blues and some slide guitar that will get you going. Saturday morning, you can run with
Shadowchase at Mr T’s at Tully and Standiford, and Sunday morning at Scenic at
Oakdale. Stay fit this year. Saturday
evening, rock at the Fat Cat with James Bent and Suicide Shift. Sunday, enjoy Serenades on Sunday with the Matson
Musicians Piano Trio, or head to Crocodiles for some classic rock dancing. The Dickies will bring their vintage punk at
Fat Cat Sunday, complete with Stukas over Disneyland. Yes this is good. Monday night, the Blue
Monday Jazz Jam sessions at Clayton’s.
