Call for Entries: All youth-aged artists (pre-school through high school) are invited to enter the Central California Art Association’s (CCAA) 40th annual art show, “Young @ Art,” previously known as “Young Masters.” Awards will be recognized with award ribbons and prizes and featured on the CCAA websitewww.ccartassn.org/, Facebook, and other social media venues.

Exhibition dates: March 1 through March 19. (Art Walk: March 17)

Receiving: For all art instructors/classroom teachers who have more than 10 entries with a limit of 20, the date for receiving is Friday, February 26, 2016, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. An inventory list is required. (Please note: choose only the best two out of a group lesson.) For all other entries, receiving will be on Saturday, February 27, 2016, from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Chris Murphy is the President and CEO of Sierra Pacific Warehouse Group and Publisher and Founder of ModestoView Inc. Chris worked globally in the cycling industry returning to Modesto in 1996. He is also the founder of the Modesto Historic Graffiti Cruise Route, Legends of the Cruise Walk of Fame, Modesto Rockin’ Holiday, the Modesto Music History Organization and co-founder of the Modesto Area Music Association. Chris is married to his artist wife Rebecca since 1985 and has two daughters Madison and Abigail, both graduating from Modesto High and UC Berkeley. He is lead singer and guitarist for his band, Third Party that donates their performances to non-profits.
