Call to all Artists: Painters, Photographers & Sculptors

This art exhibition is both a retrospective of artwork created during the 1960s and current art work echoing a theme or direct influence of the 1960s.

Exhibition Dates: July 15-August 16, 2014

Entry fee: $5.00 per entry for current CCAA members, $10 per entry for non-members.

Limit of four entries per artist.

Reception: Third Thursday Art Walk on July 17, 2014 from 5-9 p.m.

Pick up: Saturday August 16, 2014 from 12-4 p.m.

Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday noon to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free and parking is validated for the 11th and K Streets parking garage. Central California Art Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the visual arts, art education, and providing cultural opportunities for the community. Chris Murphy is the President and CEO of Sierra Pacific Warehouse Group and Publisher and Founder of ModestoView Inc. Chris worked globally in the cycling industry returning to Modesto in 1996. He is also the founder of the Modesto Historic Graffiti Cruise Route, Legends of the Cruise Walk of Fame, Modesto Rockin’ Holiday, the Modesto Music History Organization and co-founder of the Modesto Area Music Association. Chris is married to his artist wife Rebecca since 1985 and has two daughters Madison and Abigail, both graduating from Modesto High and UC Berkeley. He is lead singer and guitarist for his band, Third Party that donates their performances to non-profits.
