City of Modesto’s New Children’s Start Smart Class

The importance of early childhood physical activity cannot be stressed enough. Give your preschool-aged kid a head start in team sports by signing them up with the City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department’s Start Smart classes. Designed for children ages 3-5 years old, this class will teach the fundamentals of sports, such as throwing, kicking, and batting through one-on-one interaction. Parent participation is required. Classes begins September 19, lasts 6 sessions, and total cost for all 6 sessions is $35.
