Diciembre Navideno is an exhilarating Mexican Christmas production. CMBA Artistic Director, Zenon Barron, opens a window to the evolution of Christmas in Mexico across space and time. From the Tarazcos and Nahuas indigenous rituals of central Mexico; to the “callejoneadas” of modern Jalisco; to the African-influenced dances of Oaxaca; to the theatrical Pastorelas of theatrical mastermind Miguel Sabido, CMBA will feature the 20 dancers and musicians on stage for an end-of-the year celebration.
