Haunted Home Tour!

Omega Nu Halloween Home Tour
By Susan Lilly
A whirlwind of whimsical Halloween fun blows into town on Saturday, Oct. 10, with the return of Omega Nu’s Fourth Annual Halloween Home Tour. Guests will have the opportunity to tour three Modesto homes, full of spooktacular décor and boutique shopping in the courtyard of one home.
The tour, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature Halloween treats, but no scary tricks. Guests can tour at their leisure, with several rooms at each of the bootifully decorated homes and outdoor décor on display.
Last year’s Halloween Home Tour raised $6,500, and 100 percent of the proceeds benefitted local charities supported by Omega Nu. Combined with other funds raised through the year, Omega Nu typically distributes approximately $65,000 to Stanislaus County charities each June. Other events include the Christmas Home Tour, Fashion Show and a May concert with Tim Flannery and the Lunactic Fringe.
Halloween Home Tour tickets ($35) are available at the following locations: At Home, Beverly’s Fabric and Crafts, Crow Trading Co., Deva Café, The Greenery in Turlock, Mulberry Lane, and Portico Home & Garden.
