Love Modesto Teacher of the Month – Irma Aguilar

Love Modesto Teacher of the Month
By Jeff Pishney and Chris Murphy

We love our teachers!
Teachers are the key to our future and our next generation is counting on them. ModestoView is working with Love Modesto to celebrate the teachers in our community and each month, we will be highlighting teachers in our area that are truly making a difference. We will also be publishing some of the needs they have in their classroom.

Our first Teacher of the month is Irma Aguilar, 1st Grade Teacher at Burbank Elementary School. She is doing amazing things working with creative young minds.

Those who nominated Irma shared that she is “student centered”. Her compassionate spirit and love for her students is evident in everything she does. He students in kind admire and respect her as well. She holds them to strong academic standards and expects them to produce at a high level each and every day (no excuses!). Burbank Elementary School administration, staff, students, parents and community at-large are fortunate to have a person of her caliber on board. Hurray for Mrs. Aguilar!

Thank you to our sponsors: 5 Minute Car Wash, Brenda Athletic Club, Hands On Educational Supply Store, Starbucks, Cost Less Food Company, Congressman Jeff Denham’s Office and Assemblywoman Kristin Olson’s Office.
