Modesto Unplugged Music Festival June 21 – June 30 The hit acoustic/folk festival in downtown Modesto returns for its second year at the end of June! Over 40 acts will come together to jam, both national players and local favorites. You’ll enjoy the sounds of bluegrass, Americana, old-time country, swing, gypsy, folk, anti-folk, orchestral-folk, acoustic pop/rock, Irish/traditional, roots, blues, vintage ukulele tunes, and more. Aaron Rowan is a champion of acoustic and cool eclectic performances and hosts many national names at his “Hotel Euterpe” setting. Aaron has lined up an amazing week of talent and shows that will really be eye openers to the talent we have right here the nationally acclaimed bands like Dirty Cello that will share the stage. That is what Modesto is all about, linking up our locals with the touring groups and making our scene that much better. There will even be a songwriting workshop at the Peer Recover Center as part of this event. We need you, the music lovers in town to make sure you go and attend these shows and prove to the world that Modesto USA loves live music.
