The Modesto Music scene is alive and rocking. With hundreds of bands and musical activities all over our area, there is a wealth of talent, from the garage band to the huge sound of the Modesto Symphony. These musicians, who are from the Modesto area or regularly make Modesto their adopted home, have been nominated by the local musicians and our local radio stations. Since we want to make sure that new bands have a chance to come out on top, previous winners are now in the Hall of Fame and are now loved forever. A venue or event can win as often as it stays good. So, if your favorite band won last year, vote for your next favorite and give them a chance to get a MAMA Award. Have fun and we will see you at the MAMA awards on October 16th, 2008 at The State Theatre of Modesto.
