Go Modesto – It’s Moband Time!
This is the season. Moband season that is! Is your blanket ready? Is your picnic basket ready? Don’t miss a summer of great MoBand music and fun, food and drink with 3,000 of your best Modesto friends. So do you have the MoBand season schedule all printed off and stuck in your wallet or loaded into your fancy smartphone calendar? Do not miss a single evening. Also, please attend Night in the Bowl Fundraiser on June 2 to help keep MoBand free for the community. Music starts at 8:00 pm

June 4th “Bandstand “- Tonight’s program kicks off Modesto’s
Graffiti Celebration. Featured will be classic music by rock-roll
legends The Association, The Monkees, Three Dog Night and Billy Joel

June 11th “Cruise Control”- Music to get us all in the mood for tomorrow nights
Graffiti parade. Rock to the music of Buddy Holly, Bobby Darin and The
Doors and many more.

June 18th “Satin Latin”- The theme tells it all. Exciting latin music
to get your blood and feet moving. Groove to the sounds of
Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Carlos Santana.

June 25th “Net Flicks”- Join MoBand for a night at the movies. “Rocky,”
“Momma Mia” and “Pirates of the Caribbeanl ” will have you
reaching for the popcorn.

July 2nd “Let’s Be Patriotic”- MoBand puts you in a festive mood to kick-off
the fourth of July weekend. Featured will be great patriotic selections
with lots of audience participation.

July 9th “Sweet Dreams”- Join us as we bring another concert season to a close with
the best of the summer .

Chris Murphy is the President and CEO of Sierra Pacific Warehouse Group and Publisher and Founder of ModestoView Inc. Chris worked globally in the cycling industry returning to Modesto in 1996. He is also the founder of the Modesto Historic Graffiti Cruise Route, Legends of the Cruise Walk of Fame, Modesto Rockin’ Holiday, the Modesto Music History Organization and co-founder of the Modesto Area Music Association. Chris is married to his artist wife Rebecca since 1985 and has two daughters Madison and Abigail, both graduating from Modesto High and UC Berkeley. He is lead singer and guitarist for his band, Third Party that donates their performances to non-profits.
