NonProfitView – NorCal Women’s Music Festival

Non-Profit View
By Chris Murphy

The central valley is rich in musical talent and some of the most hard working musicians, singers and songwriters are women. It only makes sense that the Northern California Women’s Music Festival would be created. The 2014 events were fantastic and showcased a wide range of talent, raised money for Haven Women’s Center and set the stage to grow in 2015.

On February 6th, the first fundraising concert for the 2015 Northern California Women’s Music Festival (October 23 & 24 at the State Theatre) will feature local players Francesca Bavaro, Randy Mandy, Bethany Joseph and others, as well as visual art and more. 5-10 PM at Cafe Deva, 1202 J St. $10 admission. Please put this on your calendar.

The fabulous women of the Northern California’s Women Music Festival presented a check for $500 to the Haven Women’s Center on 13th Street. Proceeds were from the Women’s Music Festival at Prospect Theater in 2014.
