PerformingView – May Madness

PerformingView
By Kaye Osborn

May Madness is here! Many students will show case their talents at dance and music recitals. It is a time of celebration and graduation! Our community has many offerings in the performing arts regardless of age. It is delightful to watch the Lakewood Sign Club, K-6, perform their show: Lakewood Sign Club Salutes the Wild West. Imagine signing and singing-it is quite a skill and visually pleasing!

If to live is to suffer, then Joseph Douaihy is more alive than most. With unexplained chronic pain and the fate of his reeling family on his shoulders, Joseph’s health, sanity, and insurance premium are on the line. In an age when modern medicine has a cure for just about everything, SONS OF THE PROPHET is the funniest play about human suffering you’re likely to see.
