Stanislaus County Library Launches Mobile App

Stanislaus County Library Debuts Mobile App

[qr_download]Get the mobile phone out because the Stanislaus County Library now has a mobile app available to the public for download. SCFL Mobile is available on all phones and all networks and is perfect for app users and library users alike. The library’s mobile app is simple and easy to use while on the go yet, still allows users the convenience of the library. One can search the library catalog to see if the library owns an item, place a hold, check his or her account, find a library location, connect with the library via its social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, contact the library with questions, or look for an upcoming event. The library first began development on the app in October with Boopsie, Inc., an app developer that specializes in libraries. When the app was released at the beginning of this month it was met with enthusiasm and approval from users. People who would like to download that app can scan the QR code with a scanning app on their phone or search their app market/store for “SCFL Mobile.” For more information, please call 558-7817.
