Start Smart, Sports Development

Registration is now open!

Start Smart Programs, created by the National Alliance for Youth Sports, help kids get ready for sports…and succeed in life. It is an innovative step-by-step approach that builds confidence and self-esteem in a fun and safe sports environment. This parent participation class introduces fundamental skills of throwing, kicking, batting and more through one-on-one interaction. Offers an opportunity to play together, have fun and socialize. Pre-registration is required, cost is only $35.

Enrollment for Start Smart through the City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department is open for your little ones, aged 3-5 years. Parent participation is required.

Classes are held at the Modesto Senior Center, 211 Bodem Street, Saturdays, February 20-March 26 9:00-10:00am.
