MoBand’s 103rd Season

By Chris Murphy

For as long as we can remember, these amazing summer Thursday nights with MoBand and 3,000 of your friends in the Mancini Bowl bandshell at Graceada park, with food, drink, wine, and fun sounds have made the perfect evening; a hall of fame slice of Modestocana. Last year MoBand was back with a limited schedule, and this year, MoBand will be bigger than ever. This is truly one of the best community events in any town anywhere in the USA. Make sure that you are a part of this slice of ModestoCana and take your friends and family to Graceada Park on the June and July Thursdays.

The six traditional MoBand Concerts in the Park and the 7th Rock in the Bowl show are free, thanks to MoBand Sponsors, a great City of Modesto partnership and the Night at the Bowl fundraiser (see below). Plan your summer around MoBand and invite your friends to truly experience Modesto.

This 2022 season theme is “Hot Hot Hot!”

June 9 – Classic Rock
June 16 – Latin Fire
June 23 – Country / Pop
June 30 – America the Beatiful
July 7 – American Songbook
July 14 – Hot Summer Hits
Special 7th July 21 – Rockin’ the Bowl with Triple D.

Concerts are 8 – 10pm in Graceada Park. Don’t forget to bring a blanket and picnic and get out early on the day of the event. Please don’t put blankets or tape out before Thursday. Get the season updates at www.moband.org and follow on Facebook @moband1919

Night at the Bowl Fundraiser– June 21 – Mancini Bowl
Please come out and support Night at the Bowl on June 18th in Mancini Bowl so we can keep MoBand concerts FREE. There will be restaurant sampling from Modesto’s best eateries, wine and beer from Modesto’s best wineries and breweries and music from Third Party and the Neil Beuttner for your entertainment enjoyment. You can even dance on the famous Mancini Bowl. Tix are only $50 and you can get them at the 4th Floor Parks office, at 10th St Place or from a MoBand Board of Director.
