“The Bird’s Nest is a nest to rest your feet. Tammy Bird is a natural manicurist, who uses all earth giving ingredients to help soften, cleanse, and heal the hands and feet. Whether the nest is shedding your unwanted skin or unwanted energy, it is a place to rejuvenate the body and spirit. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, from salon owner, educator, reflexologist, and nail specialist, Tammy is opening up the Bird’s Nest to create a space where their team can nurture your skin care needs.
Tammy Bird loves downtown Modesto! She tends to gravitate toward it, because of the artistic diversity, exquisite restaurants, hustle of the businesses, and it’s quaint charm! She feels like she has come home again.
Also, there is a large homeless community in the downtown area, to whom Tammy would like to help get on their feet. Once a month, the last Sunday of every month, Bird’s Nest will be doing outside feet treatments for the homeless. They will offer them a bar of soap, a foot soak and a new pair of socks. Everyone deserves to have fresh feet. With the help of Lisa Talbott, who specializes in homeless health care, they are going to create healthy feet for the homeless community. They will be offering yoga classes early mornings and evenings, to put movement into your life, and a spring in your step. All treatments will be custom blended to meet your needs, from avocado rosemary masks to cucumber citrus scrubs.  While essential oil’s cleanse and heal the body, their team is dedicated to serving you, and this community.
Please join them in their celebration of the grand opening on June 16 from noon to four. They have three lovely musicians whose vibrations will move your soul. An epic silent auction, and some of Modesto’s finest artisans who will be vending their crafts, and a raffle ticket away spa treatments.
Come support and celebrate the Bird’s Nest. They can’t wait to meet you and to serve you. A myriad of blessings to you all“
