Two Irishmen walk out of a bar…..

It’s summer and that means it is time to laugh. Heck, it is always time to laugh. Seems like we need laughter now more than ever with our political situation seeming so funny when it is actually a tragedy; but that’s where the skill of our talented local comedians come in. There are a couple of great places that are really starting to hit our funny bone and are bringing the laughs. Cheroot, Ralston’s Goat, Clarion and Queen Been are regular comedy hang-outs now. Anthony K, winner of the Modesto Clean Comedy Competition sold out a showcase in June and he is bringing more laughs with showcases on July 5 and July 19 at Cheroot, 915 10th St. (21 and over)

Jen Eros / Aka Jennifer Johnson is hosting one of the craziest nights of comedy in our region at Ralston’s Goat. Comedy, music, fun and mayhem on July 21 after ArtWalk featuring the super funny Rick Pulido, Greg Asdourian, AJ DeMello with music and more. $ 5 cover 1001 10th St.

There is also at 209 Comedy Stand Up show at the Clarion on July 9th.
So let’s get out there, yuk it up, support our local comedians so we can make Modesto USA a great place for comedy.

The Stand up for Comedy Shows have been gaining speed over the last year and are starting to become a local staple.
