Modesto Garden Club Spring Luncheon Table Viewing

The Modesto Garden Club presents its Spring Luncheon and Table Viewing event June 6 and 7 at Del Rio Country Club

More than 30 tables will be decorated by garden club members, all with a multitude of beautiful spring themes ranging from whimsical to elegant. Viewing will be both days, with the luncheon on Thursday only.

The Modesto Garden Club takes on the responsibility for the planting and care of the giant floral clock downtown, the roses at the Virginia corridor, the grounds of the Modesto Senior Center, offers the popular Spring Garden Tours, plus many other projects throughout the community.

The club awards numerous scholarships yearly to students. They also maintain programs serving elementary schools and senior communities by setting up, overseeing and maintaining gardens.

The table viewing with light refreshments is June 6 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door or at modestogardenclub.org. The luncheon is June 7 beginning at 10:30 a.m. for table viewing and lunch served at noon. The cost is $35 and reservations are required by calling 209-523-1420.
