MJC Opens New Art Exhibit

MJC presents art exhibition by Jerry Reilly

The Modesto Junior College Visual Arts Club is proud to announce the opening of an exhibition of long time MJC Art Professor Jerry Reilly. The exhibition will be open January 22 through February 14. There will be a free public reception with the artist on Thursday, January 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the MJC Art Gallery, located on the East Campus at 435 College Avenue, South Drive, in Modesto CA. The art show and reception is free, open to the public and wheelchair accessible. The Gallery hours are Monday through Wednesday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The exhibition will feature more than thirty of Reilly’s abstract figure paintings dating from 1969-2013. Reilly who has been retired since 2003 has continued to produce and has evolved a very colorful and expressive new style.
