Scholastic Book Fair at the Modesto Library

It’s that time of year again! The Scholastic Book Fair has returned to the Modesto Library just in time for your holiday shopping. The Friends of the Modesto Library will be holding the fair in the Modesto Library Auditorium on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Clifford the Big Red Dog will also be making a special appearance on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m. Don’t miss your opportunity to purchase lots of brand new books and visit with Clifford. Individuals can also purchase items for Wish List participants during the Scholastic Book Fair. This year’s Wish List participants, in addition to the Stanislaus County Library, include Cricket’s House/Children’s Crisis Center, Haven Women’s Center, Hutton House, Parent Resource Center, Stanislaus Literacy Center for their Family Literacy program, and Sierra Vista. Help the Friends of the Modesto Library, the Stanislaus County Library, and any of the above organizations by purchasing an item from their Wish List or making a donation towards the Wish List.
