Watch Modesto – Guy Fieri

Watch Modesto
By Chris Murphy, Photo Brandilyn Brown

Were you excited when Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” host Guy Fieri and his crew were filming in Modesto Jan. 21-22? It was so much fun and food fans were following the film crew all over town and the chase was part of the game. A couple of our local places were the stars of the show. Bauers 66 1/2 Skillet and Grill, The Food Fix Truck, and Commonwealth GastroPub were the filming locations. The ViewCrew presented Guy with a copy of ModestoView and gave him a Modesto Graffiti USA cup and shotglass.

Now it is time to watch the shows. Bauers 66 1/2 and the Food Fix truck are the first episodes. The Commonwealth episode does not have a date yet. Here are the dates and times on the Food Network.

April 15 10 pm Food Fix Truck
April 22 10 pm Bauers 66 1/2
