Modesto has a great music scene. From the indie origins of the late Grandaddy to the pop hits by Flying Blind, the new new sounds of the Frecnh Cassettes, Colour, DAM, EARL, the ecclectic El Olio Wolof and Solar Powered People, to the diverstiy of the Off the Air Series, there is something for everyone in Modesto. There are a good selection of places to hear live music and many of these also include food and drink options that always go hand in hand with music. Whether your pleasure is jazz, funk, pop, americana, acoustic, you can find some great options in Modesto. The Modesto Area Music Association is proud to showcase and celebrate all that we have to offer. So have fun, find a band and have some fun.

Rock is back in Modesto!!
Rock 96.7 is back. After a seriously misguided spanishg radio experiment, our local radio waves are back with the sound of burning metal. This is great for our community and they are supporting rock shows all over the region.
