Seal Standards

Seal in San Francisco

Grammy Award Winner Seal performed a one of a kind performance with The San Francisco Symphony on Thursday, November 30th. Seal sang an amazing collage of songs with the Symphony from his new album Standards. The record brings Seal’s smooth and unique soulful take to jazz/swing classics from Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone among others. His new LP, “Standards,” came out in the early part of November just in time for The Holidays. As expected, Seal’s sold out show was nothing short of brilliance just like his new LP. As a photojournalist, it’s always very much a gift to be able to enjoy the talents of a great Artists such as Seal performing with a full orchestra as in this Holiday concert with The San Francisco Symphony. Truly it was one of the most heartfelt shows my wife and I have ever experienced. The Davies Symphony Hall, as you can imagine, was fully decorated with Holiday Cheer. The entire experience of Seal performing his new LP as well as some classic Holiday favorites was lovely. Another exciting moment in which his fans enjoyed was when he performed acoustically everyone’s past favorite songs such as “Kiss from a Rose” & “Crazy.” This Holiday Season give the gift of Seal’s new LP “Standards” & I’d also invite you to download it as a gift for yourself so that you too can enjoy some of what my wife and I experienced during our Holiday Seal experience in San Francisco.

This is the album I always wanted to make. I grew up listening to music from the Rat Pack era, so recording these timeless songs was a lifelong dream. Seal

About the Author:

I answered the call back in 1983; mixing Music and Entertainment with an eccentric European style has always come easy for me. In the early 80's I was the Disc Jockey for most of the high school dances in Modesto. In the late 80's I found myself in Hollywood working as a dancer and sound engineer for various professional recording industries. In 1990 my wife of 25 years and I started (The Quake Mobile DJ ®) which was seeded from San Francisco's 1985, The Quake, radio station that only lasted a short while on the air. 26 years later The Quake Mobile DJ is bigger & better than ever in the Entertainment industry. Real-Estate, photojournalism, event promoter, saving animals, travel and fitness are a few other of my interests. I also enjoy motivational speaking to children and to those who are struggling with addiction. In my life, I have always been a very direct person and once I see a goal I won't quit till I've achieved it. But out of all of the above I feel in my heart that the best inspiration in my life is my wife and my love for the faith that I practice. Phil 4:20
