John McCutcheon, six-time Grammy nominated folk musician, performs his 17th annual benefit concert for the Modesto Peace/Life Center on Tues. Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Modesto Church of the Brethren, 2301 Woodland Ave. Cindy and Mark Lemaire open. Named the “most impressive instrumentalist I’ve ever heard” by none other than Johnny Cash, folk virtuoso John McCutcheon will perform again at Modesto’s Church of the Brethren. Tickets are $23 in advance, $26 at the door and youth 24 and under are $10.
