by Chris MurphyA jazz combo is one of the coolest things going. Modesto is experiencing a renaissance of traditional jazz thanks to the Intermission and the Queen Bean. There have been some great parties, special events, and film screenings in the Intermission. The classic retro space features wonderful craft cocktails with light bites for a special night out.
Denise Choate has been a regular, and on January 22, the Charged Particles bring their virtuoso, improvisational Latin-inspired Jazz at 6 pm.
Look forward to two Thursdays a month, 6-8 winter, 7-9 summer.
Intermission is open Thursday 5-9, Fri and Saturday 5-11.
