A jazz combo is one of the coolest things going. Modesto is getting a renaissance of traditional jazz with the help of the Intermission and the Queen bean. There have been some great parties, special events and film screenings in the Intermission. The classic retro space features wonderful craft cocktails with light bites for a special night out.
Denise Choate has been a regular and in January, the Charged Particles bring their virtuoso and improvisational Latin-inspired Jazz on January 22 at 6 pm.
Look forward to two Thursdays a month, 6-8 winter 7-9 summer.
Intermission is open Thursday 5-9, Fri and Sat 5-11.
