Dave Heller, owner of the Modesto Baseball club, drove in to the Graffiti USA Museum in a 1961 red Corvette and announced Modesto Roadsters as the new baseball team name. The ViewCrew were champions of the Roadster name and the new mascot is Cruiser the Fox. We are excited about a new day in Modesto baseball. Dave is excited for Modesto’s future and looks to create a home for the Roadsters here in Modesto with our cool car culture and a desire to win. JT Snow is a great fit as manager and team staff will be announced next week. Tix will go on sale in late December. Let’s celebrate this win for the people of Modesto that spoke up and to the team that listened. Play Ball!
