Mancini Bowl – Built by MoBand

Mancini Bowl was built by MoBand

Have you ever wondered where Mancini Bowl came from? It is named for the guy that pretty much built it, Frank Mancini (ManCHEEni). Mancini Bowl is one of Modesto’s most iconic locations. How many cities have a cool bandstand that aren’t in the Gilmore Girls? Mancini Bowl has been home to many an epic Modesto experience, from the early MoBand concerts, to ModStock, Juline’s School of Dance, Night at the Bowl, graduations, Earth Days and so much more.

In the late 40s, Proof Mancini personally installed many of the seats, helped out by the MoBand Moms that would assist with fundraising and support. There are so many people that have helped make it possible for MoBand to present Concerts in the Park over the years and the great partnership with the City of Modesto for the great moments in Modesto’s central park. Please consider a donation to MoBand at www.moband.org and we will see you at the concerts.
