MoBand Season July Finale

By Chris Murphy

Besides the 4th of July parade, there is probably no greater Modesto tradition than MoBand’s Concerts in the Park. Since the 1940s and 50s, the Mancini Bowl in Graceada Park has been home to MoBand. As long as I can remember it has been a tradition and I was fortunate to play in MoBand during the late 70s. Mancini Bowl is a special place, actually built by hand by Frank “Proof” Mancini

This is truly one of the best community events in any town anywhere in the USA. Make sure that you are a part of this slice of ModestoCana and take your friends and family to Graceada Park for the rest of the 2022 concerts.

July 7 – American Songbook
July 14 – Hot Summer Hits
Special Bonus 7th Show
July 21 – Rockin’ the Bowl with Triple D.

MoBand Concerts in the Park and the 7th Rock in the Bowl show are free, thanks to MoBand Sponsors, a great City of Modesto partnership and donations from local people like you. Invite your friends to truly experience Modesto.

Concerts are 8 – 10pm in Graceada Park. Don’t forget to bring a blanket and picnic and get out early on the day of the event. Please don’t put blankets or tape out before Thursday. Get the season updates and donate at www.moband.org and follow on Facebook @moband1919
