Gallo Center is off to a great 2026 with a lineup of shows for everyone with some annual favorites coming back and some new fun events for kids.

State Theatre is looking great for the new year.
But key for your calendar is the Larger Than Life KISS is back with a tribute to Ace Frehley by KISS Revisited as they return to the State. There will be deep tracks for the most dedicated fan. Don’t miss this show on Jan 24th.
Brett Dennen returns to the State for the 100th Anniversary of Camp Jack Hazard. Brett is a CJH alum and has been a big supporter over the years. From Oakdale to global fame and huge performances, he returns to support Camp Jack Hazard “Campership” programs. Jan 9 at 7 pm
Opera takes the State with many ways to enjoy the fun.
It is a magic Cinderella weekend in Modesto with the State Theatre and Opera Modesto hosted by Cinderella and Prince Charming to screen the Disney film Cinderella. Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Disney princess or Cinderella character, and join in with Opera Modesto on the classic songs, and have a Cinderella party, complete with snacks. There will be a costume parade so make sure you are ready.

On Saturday and Sunday, two special matinees will showcase this magic story
reimagined as an operetta by French composer Pauline Viardot! This captivating work based on the same fairy tale that inspired Walt Disney weaves a story of magic and love, with a charming twist and stunning music and breathtaking performances

Turlock Community Theatre
January starts strong with Garrison Keillor on January 11. Cesar Lozano follows up on Jan 23 and then, get ready as it is KPOP Stars Live coming to Turlock with two shows. This is already selling fast so don’t miss out. There is also a BTS tribute band and BlackPink to enjoy. Prepare for the screaming, January 24 at 4 & 6:30 pm.
Theme party anyone?
The Crocodiles crew is lining up some great parties and it a fun place to get your dancin’ shoes on with a huge old school disco dance floor. This has been a dance spot since the 70s! Check out these theme parties in January beginning at 7:30 pm.
