MetalView: Hauntings in October

Greetings Metal Heads and aspiring Metal Heads!

My name is Brent Terry, and I will be your gracious tour guide through the ever-changing world of the Modesto Metal Scene. I have been a proud member of the community for a number of years, and even though some of you may not know my name, face, or voice, I am very proud to be a part of this community. That being said, I am elated to be a part of the ModestoView and would hope you will return to read future articles.

That all being said, let’s get this started with the immortal words of Max Cavalera, “UM DOIS TRéS QUA…” (And yes, it is Portuguese and not Spanish, do not write in and Complain!).

It is great to see bands that I have shared the stage with for 15+ year still kicking ass and taking names. Stigmurder is one of these bands and I highly recommend you make it out to see not only one, but all of their shows!

I am sure Stigmurder will be tearing up the Central Valley all Summer, but the announcement that they will be sharing the stage with the mighty Goatwhore, The Casualties, Black Tusk, and Nothing But Losers for the “Metal Alliance Tour” date on November 9th at Full Circle Brewing, 620 F St, Fresno, CA, 5PM is one hell of a way to bring in the Winter. Congratulations to Stigmurder and N.B.L. for landing such an incredible opportunity.

October 27th People! Mark this on your calendar, but let’s not kid ourselves, put this date in your phone so you do not miss this show. “The Summoning Carnevil – Metal Stage”, taking place in Downtown Modesto, is absolutely stacked with some of the Central Valley’s very best! With performances by Eroszion, Sworn To The Black, Nothing But Losers, Echoes of The Forgotten, Lost Horizons, Harlot Exiled, Bavmorda, Hard Knox, Fear The Worst, Ununoctium, and Manic, it promises to be one hell of a time.

Thank you for taking the time to read my first contribution to the MetalView, and I would love to hear from you, the fan, the bands, or just those who have something to say. I would love to feature your band, artist, or anyone that has a direct impact on the Modesto Metal Scene.

Keep it f#cking Metal Modesto,
