National Night Out Aug 6

National Night Out – August 6 6-9 pm
Join your neighbors and “give crime and drugs a going away party!”
Want a great reason to get out there and meet your neighbors? National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness and to provide an opportunity to promote and celebrate police-community partnerships in crime prevention efforts. Residents in neighborhoods throughout Modesto and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors. Many neighborhoods throughout Modesto will be hosting a variety of special events such as block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, potlucks, games and even some live music. Don’t miss the chance to meet your neighbors and friends.
