RockabillyView – Garage Party

RockabillyView
By Chris Murphy

No holiday season is complete without the fun and the slappin’ beats of Modesto’s own Rockabilly music. Thanks to Tony Trevino, Trevino’s Barber Shop, ModestoView, the MAMA Association, and the Speakeasy, Rockabilly is back with amazing ruckus romps that will get you going each month. So far, we have enjoyed, 3 Mad Jacks, The Infamous Swanks, The Rocketz, Hotel Circle with Tractor Boy and the Pendletons on the same bill. It is a fun scene that we haven’t experienced for a few years and it is so good that our music, that was born in Modesto in 1938 is still jumpin here.

This month you can dig a cool Wild Records Garage Party on December 17 at 9 pm. It is going to be a fun night. Get your dancing shoes on, roll out our classic cars and get into the Rockabilly retro feeling. On deck is the Wenzdaze, the Ultrasonics, and the Flowers. It will be a gas.

Look forward to some larger events next year and possibly some festivals that will be super fun with Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Pin Ups, Hot Rods, Cool fashion and so much more. This is our music and come be a part of this rockin’ scene.
